Andhadhun:  Blind Game

After delivering terrific performances in Sacred Games and Ghoul Radhika Apte is back on screen with Sriram Raghavan’s thriller Andhandhud. She will be pairing against Ayushman Khurana. Ayushaman and Radhika are sharing screen on the first time. Ayushaman’s last two performances were terrific in films Barely Ki Barfi and Shubh Mangal Savadhaan. Ayushaman is playing role of blind pianist in the film.

Sriram Raghavan made his directorial debut in 2004 with Urmila Matondkar starrer Ek Hasina thi. Since then, he has directed neo-noir thriller Johnny Gaddar (2007), spy film Agent Vinod (2012) and revenge thriller Badlapur (2015).

This will be Radhika’s second association with Sriram after Badlapur. Radhika will be sharing screen with Ayushman. Andhadhun’s trailer just out and it is gripping and intriguing, it tells you mystery surrounded by a centre character a blind pianist. Trailer reveals various plots inside one film. Very smartly director has unfolded story of a blind pianist who get caught in a web of mysteries, at the end of the trailer audiences get confused whether a protagonist blind or not. Does he see what he likes to see? Or does he see only what has to see?  Those questions are still questions. If you want to get answers of these questions then must watch thriller mystery of Andhadhun.

To add pinch of salt in it, director stars Tabu in a pivotal role. Tabu will be playing grey character once again after Drishyam. Tabu’s character a slightly mysterious, she is a murderer or not. Ayushman is the only blind witness. Trailer makes you to watch film. Andhadhun is produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Matchbox Pictures, which was earlier slated to release on 31 August, will now hit theatres on 5 October 2018. You will have thriller, mysterious treat on this October. So spare some time for Andhadhun.
