Gold is Gold in Real Nature

Gold is Gold in real nature

It was really great delicious treat for me as Gold has done well, and as better as it is expected.

Gold is good Celebration of Independence Day. It once again proves that Akshay Kumar is the king of right choices. The film is a reflection of the emotional journey of India through the eyes of Akshay and his yearning to see a free Indian team win the Gold at the Olympics with the Independent India Tricolor flying high and the national anthem played. In a tumultuous journey of a crazy man who has been a part of the British Indian team and its wins before Independence, he bides his time to build a team and gets a setback when Lord Mountbatten divides India into two countries and the team splits. He again rebuilds from scratch and the rest is history. The weak point of this movie is the first half of the movie which drags a bit during the buildup but the second half is emotionally charged and raises the nationalism quotient in every Indian. Akshay comes up as the crazy Bengali nationalist as the absolute right choice for the movie.

Reema Kagati as usual excels in her each film, she always handles noteworthy subjects in her each films. Reema Kagati tells an insightful and entertaining story and takes us back to history, which is not often spoken or celebrated.   Performances by the entire casts are spectacular. Film is very scenic in nature. All casts and crew have given their best in the film.

As it is a based on true story of Tapan Das. Gold is inspired by true events and people, of India’s first gold medal win as an independent nation at the 1948 Olympics in London. Tapan Das (Akshay Kumar), the team manager, leads the charge to assemble the country’s first all-Indian hockey team. His aim is to beat the Britishers at their own game, on their own turf.

This film is must to watch inn category, as I like Akshay Kumar’s selection of movies, as per my rating it is 3.5 stars out of 5 stars.
