Katrina Kaif to pen down her memoir:

A lot of actors and actresses have come up and penned their own biographies. Mahesh Bhatt, Karan Johar, a lot of the celebrities have found words the best way to express their thoughts. Now it is Katrina Kaif who wants her life and struggles to be jotted down in a memoir. She has definitely come a long way, from Maine Pyar Kyu Kiya, to Humko Deewana Kar gaye, to Namaste London, opposite Akshay Kumar, followed by Partner and Welcome. There have been others, Singh is King, Yuvaraj, Ajab Prem ki Gajab Kahani, Tees Maar Khan. The best of her career was probably Rajneeti, where she outdid her own bar. Dhoom 3, EK tha tiger, Jab tak hai jaan were average movies, but Zindagi na Milegi dobara was an excellent one.

Katrina was born in Hong Kong, and her Indian origin is linked via her father, who is of kashmiri origin. Katrina was single handedly raised by her mother, along with her siblings.

She has always been grateful for the difficult circumstances instead of being resentful.  Kaif as a surname was adopted when she made the decision to come to India to act in movies. She decided that it was an easier title to pronounce than her mother’s.

Her early career began with Boom, an erotica, of which Amitabh Bacchan was also a part of. She soon found a career in modeling and film in India. According to reports, Katrina has given a green signal to the publishing house- she will be writing her memoir and calling it the Barbie dreams. The name is such because she is the only person from India, whose face and body has been used to model a Barbie Doll. The book will be heavily based on her childhood, and her travelling experiences, more than her personal life. We are all thrilled and waiting for the book to release.
