Mulk Review

“Mulk “the country where a person lives and born there. This time Anubhav sinha applies some of the rules that govern commercial entertainers to a complex drama about social prejudice.  The story revolves around moral and social ethics about a loyal patronage about a county, in which where caste and religion is emphasized.  Mulk turns to a battleground to prove a being loyal and honest for a country.  Casts of the film have done their best including Rishi Kapoor, Tapsee Pannu, and Manoj Pahwa.  Not a big role but story surrounded by Shahid (Prateik) after a long he did a great work. I really appreciate his performance as I compared his overall work.  He truly worked hard for this.

140 – minute appropriately narrate a story of a family in Varanasi that loses of its sons in a terrorist attack. Shahid (Prateik) is perpetrator rather than victim, having come under the sway of an Islamic radical. Shahid dies in an operation by anti terrorist squad officer Danish (Rajat Kapoor), from there, the real and the biggest nightmare is beginning for a family to shout out from their ancestral home’s rooftop to prove their real patriotism.

Shahid’s father, Bilal (Manoj Pahwa), is accused of aiding Shahid, and the evidence is stacked against him. Bilal’s older brother, the lawyer Murad (Rishi Kapoor) and Murad\s daughter in law Aarti) Tapasee Pannu), who is an advocate, leap to Bilal’s rescue.  Public prosecutor Santosh (Ashutosh Rana) isn’t content with just hauling Bilal into prison. He is convinced that Shahid’s extended clan is responsible.

Mulk is set in Varanasi. It has some scenic beauty which has been captured very subtly.

The courtroom turns out to be an extension of the divided street. Santosh who represents those Indians, who are ready to believe the worst about Muslims, frequently resorts to communalized arguments to bolster his case.  The screenplay has its share of rhetorical flourishes, but in many scenes, Mulk is remarkable on point.

Abhinav Sinha has finally justice to a such crucial subject, he handled and made in a such wonderful way, he doesn’t make religious comments through Mulk. Fine artists, fine cinematography, fine scripting. the film itself a thought provoking, once you need to go and watch the film.

Filmi Bhonga and I do rate this film  3.5 out of 5 stars ..
