Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Shocking Declarations About New Roles

Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s declarations:

There’s a man who has risen from the ashes, and its none other than Nawaz. Nawaz has a strong voice, he neither sports a fair and handsome look, nor does he have a nice body to flaunt. The actor is as simple as a commoner, and he plays different roles and amazes us throughout. Nawazuddin has clearly reached the point where he has shown his versatility, his ease of acting, his skills in portraying every character with excellent precision, and more. He has the capability to breathe life into the characters he portrays, and he is what we know as the one man army, truly.

His new roles:

Recently, Nawazuddin bagged the roles of Sadat Hassan Manto, and of the role of the Shiv Sena supreme Bal Thakarey. Nawazuddin came up with this statement that he is finally done with small odd roles, and he never wants to go back to these small roles. He wants to do large defining roles, which will make an impact. The actor is presently in Cannes, waiting for the screening of the movie Manto, which has already received critical acclaim.

Nawaz is all praise about Nandita’s research and direction. He however shied away when he was asked who his favourite director was.

What matters to the actor:

The actor said that what matters to him is that he looks at the stories, the script, and most importantly the character in the film. He says that he always looks for characters who will challenge and push him beyond his limits, and make him work harder. He says that he won’t give anymore cameo appearances in the movies. He is also venturing into production, as he was the co-producer for Manto. He also said that he has cancelled out foreign movies from his list too. He is content with the Indian scenario. Way to go Nawaz!
