What Amir reacted over Thugs of Hindostan?
There are always much more expectations from filmmakers. Sometimes makers fail to complete expectations in terms of providing proper entertainment, amusement and sometimes fail to worth audience’s expenditure on movie tickets. What do audiences expect? No one can predict. This prediction is quite difficult for any filmmaker. Recently the biggest failure of Thugs of Hindostan, which made much talk in the industry. B Town’s Mr. Perfectionist fails to amuse with his the most hyped and big budget film ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’. Where did he go wrong while making and promoting the film? The film had ensemble casts of Amitabh Bachchan, Fatima Sana Sheikh, Katrina Kaif and Amir Khan. Still TOH collapsed on box office.
Being Mr. Perfectionist came forward to take entire responsibility of ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’s failure. Recently he took social media and some social events where he has openly expressed his apology to his honest audiences. He said
“I think we went wrong and I would like to take full responsibility for that. We tried very hard to make a good film and we didn’t hold back from putting in our entire effort, but somewhere or the other, we went wrong.”
He further added to his statement “There are people who have liked the film and we are thankful to them, but they are in a minority. Most people didn’t like our film — we are aware of that.”
This is the wonder game in the Bollywood. None of other cast of TOH came forward to talk about failure of the film. But only Amir Khan came forward to openly express his apology. Once again he proved that, he is real Mr Perfectionist and good human being too, who really cares about his acts and film in the film fraternity. His expression shows his concerns about his own work of art. It is said that in spite of 99 good works done it will not be remembered but your one bad work is enough to spoil your entire good work.
